Physical Description of Persona:
Donisse is tall, thin and gangly. Her hair is light brown lightly streaked with blond, and her eyes are an interesting blue-brown. She’s got a multitude of scars which she regularly adds to. The most eye-catching scar is on her chin, a reminder of tumbling down the stairs in the Hatching Cavern in the middle of a Hatching.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Donisse is a bit of an airhead. She flits from idea to idea and interest to interest with no real purpose in life, and is secretly envious of the people she thinks 'have it all figured out'. She’s more of an athlete than studious but she’s not particularly good at either. Deep in her heart she knows she’s a failure and an embarrassment, and so she’s doing her best to stop caring what people think and to just have fun, like her father does.

History of Persona:
Donisse was born at Far Island Weyr to Dondelia and bluerider N’kryi. Dondelia was a foster mother, and as a result Donisse grew up within an ever growing (and changing) pack of half-siblings and weyrbrats. N’kryi wasn’t weyrmated to her mother and while he and Dondelia are friendly, he wasn’t around much, especially after he transferred to a new Weyr. Donisse looked forward to his visits since her Da is always up to something fun and exciting.

Donisse was Searched and started Standing at Hatchings at the age of twelve. She started floating through apprenticeships at that time as well and is nominally an apprentice Sea Crafter, although she hasn’t pursued her knots with any sort of ambition.

When she was about fourteen, she started getting in trouble for skipping classes and chores to play on the beaches with her friends. Punishments don’t seem to have much of an effect on her attitude or behaviour, which has only gotten wilder as she got older. Her last few Turns have been filled with misadventures including an unplanned pregnancy (and miscarriage), breaking her collarbone falling out of bed, hiding dead fish in the Weyrlingmaster’s office, and getting lost at sea after building her own raft and trying to sail solo to the next island.

She’s been sent to Dragonsfall Weyr in the hopes that a new location and the steady influence of her aunt Saibra will put her on the right path.
