Physical Description of Persona:
Mosler is deeply tanned from both his ancestry and his years out in the sun. His hair is peppered and cut short. At 5'11, 180 pounds he is well proportioned, his frequent long swims making him almost all lean muscle.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Gentle and carefree as a child, the deaths of two wives and a child have left him more quiet. While able to give his full affection to the dolphins, he has a harder time with people and while personable and easy to get along with, he keeps everyone at a distance so as not to get too attached, even his only son.

History of Persona:
Born as the middle child to a Master healer of a Northern Sea Hold, Mosler had all the inspiration he could handle. He fell in love with the dolphins as soon as he discovered they could talk and apprenticed to the Dolphin Hall with his parents blessing. His adoration of his father turned his leanings towards healing and chose it as his specialty as a journeyman. It was then that he met and fell in love with his first wife who was also a dolphineer. They married and she became pregnant soon after. The delivery was too hard though and both she and the baby died. While he worked on his Mastery he found himself in love again, this time with a harper. Orana was young but they soon became inseperatable and she helped him forget the pain of his lost first love. They had been married for four years before she easily gave birth to their only son Orlan. Even though Orana had to travel frequently as a harper, they had a good life and Mosler was happy. When his wife was killed in a rock slide, Mosler shut down. He spent all his time out with the dolphins and nearly abandoned his five year old. He slowly came out of his depression, but was never the same. When the call came to go South, Mosler was glad for the chance to get away from the reminders of his pain. Mosler and Orlan were among the first to arrive, and have made a good new start. Orlan has apprenticed to the Dolphin Hall and Mosler couldn't be prouder, although with the move so close to the Weyr, he has noticed Orlan's attentions start to wander and wonders if a life in the Hall is what Orlan really wants.

Mosler took a Hallsecond position (against his better judgement) at the request of his long time friend and then current Hallmaster Seori. She recently had a stroke, and went North to recouperate and spend time with her daughter, leaving Mosler as Hallmaster and in a very overwhelmed and depressed state.

Three mild heart attacks over the last two turns have left Mosler weaker. His healers asked him to step down after his second attack, but he feared another change in Hallmastery would destabilize the Hall so he refused. After his third he realized the position he never wanted in the first place was going to kill him so he stepped down in the hopes that a Master that _wanted_ the responsibility would have better health.

Chase has been Mosler's companion since he was a journeyman. He is dark bronze and enjoys to quietly sun most of the day. He accompanies Mosler on all his swims and always seems to be keeping an eye on what Orlan is doing as well.
