At sixteen Turns, Ailyn stood at 5'4" and hasn't grown an inch since (much to her dismay)! Her ebon-black hair is long, thick and straight, and her eyes are the green color of the sea. Delicate arching brows and a serious but sweet mouth completes her charming beauty.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Where other women in the Holds and Halls may shy away from intelligent conversation, Ailyn does not. She excels in tactful discussion, though she knows that most men of her husband's acquaintance don't really approve. They tend to forgive her opinions though the instant she turns that sweet smile of hers on them. Ailyn has never been known to hold a grudge against anyone, and it takes a lot to happen for her to lose the temper that lurks beneath her good nature.

History of Persona:
Ailyn was born into a decently wealthy family. Her father was a minor holder who specialized especially in breeding racing runners. As an only daughter, she was doted on by both her mother and father alike – especially her father. Ailyn was the family's pride and joy, and when it became apparent of just how lovely and charming a woman she was becoming, father tightened his loving hold on her. Not just _any_ man would do for his young, beautiful daughter.

With inheriting her mother's exotic looks, if not her tall stature, it didn't take long at all for marriage offers to pile up for the well-bred young woman. When Ailyn turned eighteen, her father finally released her to a young, well-born and ambitious journeyman from Amethyst Cliff Hold. From the moment Ailyn and Firon met, they were smitten with one another. It was a good match, both for them and for their families alike. And Ailyn knew that she, unlike most girls her age, was lucky in that respect.

Over the Turns, Firon learned that he could depend on his intelligent wife. Not only does he hear Ailyn's insights, but he listens to her, and follows her subtle, and sometimes not-so-subtle, advice. It is because of this that their relationship is so strong and honest. Ailyn hopes to one day bear him a son to carry on both their proud family lines.
