Physical Description of Persona:
Though he inherited most of his best features from his mother, there is no doubt that Shadux is his father's son. He is not much taller than average height, but body is long and full of compact strength and energy that seems just ready to spring. His bright hazel eyes hide nothing. He tans easily in the summer, but it fades in the winter months when he spends less time in the sun. His rich brown hair shines with red or blonde highlights, depending on the light, though that is only when he allows it to grow out.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Shadux feels everything deeply and he wears his heart on his sleeve, though he has learned to be a bit more guarded as he grew older. He has a deep sense of pride in his Hold and his family, and feels it is a great honor to be next in line for the stewardship of the Hold. Since he was a boy he has been fiercely loyal to the Lord Holder and his family, almost as much as he is to his own father and sister. He is dedicated to being the best he can be, as can only be expected of one whose family has been honored to serve the Lords of Amber Hills for generations. Tradition and honor are foremost in his mind.

Despite his dedication and ambition, he also has a much softer side to him. He has been called quick and witty, and has succeeded in charming the residents of Amber Hills for turns with his humor and genuine friendly smiles. Shadux has a deep love for children and natural beauty. His favorite past times are riding or walking alone, taking in the sights and smells around him, or perhaps laying back in a field of grass and watching the clouds drift by.

History of Persona:
Shadux was the third child born to Shayven, Steward of Amber Hills Hold, and his wife Duksana. He has only the faintest memory of his mother, as she and his older brother both died in a boating accident when he was three turns old. This left his father alone to raise both him and his older sister.

Despite the Hold's strong encouragement to produce children, Shayven never remarried. Instead he threw all his efforts into raising his son and daughter, and dedicated himself to the work of restoring Amber Hills. His sister Shavana took on the roll of mother for the little boy, and a bond was formed between the two of them that has remained strong all their lives.

Shadux grew to not only love his father, but to admire him deeply for his hard work and loyalty. He knew how deeply painful his older brother's death had been. Had he lived, it would have been him that had been trained to take over from his father when he was gone. Shadux never forgot that, and was determined to make his father proud of him, to help him forget the sadness for the man his brother would have been.
