Physical Description of Persona:
Ednan is 6'2" tall and weights 187 lbs. He has copper-red hair and blue eyes. His face is oval shaped with cute snub nose and freckles. He has strong jaw and shy smile. His skin has finally aquired a nice brown tan but it still burns easily. His voice is melodic tenor. Dolphineering has given his broad shoulders, slim waist and strong legs. He can play and sing well, his favourite instrument is pipes or flute.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Ednan is always been a solitary and shy persona, the quiet observer. Although, he can be social and quite witty if he wants to. He has well developed sense of justice, honour and duty. He's interested in women but haven't figured out how to approach them yet. He is also a secret romantic. He has always had an unexplained passion towards sea and dolphins, despite being grown up inlands. Ednan doesn't form friendships very easily: he likes people but finds very difficult to open up and confide with them. He is also very determined to show people that he can take care of himself. And he has a strong streak of stubbornness in him.

History of Persona:
Born in Emerald Falls' Harper Hall, Ednan's father is master composer Endras and mother's name was Rionna. He was the second youngest child. Born between two girls, he always felt like the odd one out. His older brothers were concentrating on their rivalry, while the sister did their own girly-things. Ednan was never ignored or neglected, he had a loving, caring family, but still he felt like outsider. If the other lads in hall gave him troubles, his older brothers were always there to defend their 'baby-bro' (especially Endrion). That sometimes annoyed him, he never got a chance to prove himself.
Ednan buried himself to books and day-dreams. He read anything he could about seas, seacraft, dolphins, and pirate adventures. Like his siblings, his father taught him to sing and play variety of instruments as soon as he learned to talk.
He did surprise his parents when he reached the age and asked to be apprenticed with the dolphin hall. He had to fight his parents before he was allowed to join the craft of his choosing. Especially Ednan's mother was against it.

At the dolphin hall, Ednan was again the outsider, coming from Emerald Falls hold. He couldn't swim or dive as well as those from seaholds and his skin burned in the sun. But Ednan was persistent and soon was as good in the water as any other apprentice dolphineer. He often retreated to solitary, playing his flute of pipes. The other apprentices nick-named him "the harper."

He was at the hall when his mother died. Unable to be at her deathbed and say good bye, Ednan felt like he had failed her somehow. He became even more withdrawn. Endras disappered altogether after his wife's death.

When the hurricane that destroyed Topaz Sea hold hit, Ednan was at the hall, assisting a healer with injured dolphins. A young, seriously injured dolphin calf was brought in. She had been tossed against a shipwreck. Ednan held the calf, Kegy, when the healer stitched her up, nursed her during her recovery and played to her. They became very close.

When the harper hall moved to Dolphin Cove weyr, he was re-united with his younger sister. Enilda was now a harper apprentice. But as much as Ednan enjoyed having her close, they saw with each other rarely, both being busy with their crafts. Ednan felt he had only little in common with her.
