Physical Description of Persona:
At 5'10" of height and weighing in at about 165 pounds, Tanas is best described as stocky. Though he keeps his medium brown hair short, the cut is rather uneven – probably because he tends to lop off sections of it as they get in his way. Of course, he's not as bothered by facial hair, and usually has a day or two worth of stubble. His brown eyes are often narrowed in criticism of those around him. Because of his craft, his hands are continually dirty, stained by dye.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Tanas works hard and keeps his workspace immaculate, but when it comes to home and his appearance, he tends to be sloppy. He does not show feelings easily, having followed around after his brothers, copying their moves, and not analyzing what he himself felt. He never really developed people skills, again because he relied on his brothers for all of his interactions. He is unsure of himself around other people, especially females, but has developed a new confidence in himself – almost a cockiness – since walking the tables.

History of Persona:
Born the youngest son of a minor holder, Tanas never held out any hope that he would inherit land. Both of his brothers were larger and more muscular and looked more the part of landed holders. He left the two of them to fight over Western Foothills Hold and chose a craft, leaving to apprentice at the Weaver Hall. His time away from his family showed him that their view of themselves as holders was rather inflated and that their home was actually little more than a cothold.

At the Weaver Hall, Tanas threw himself into his work, though he did form friendships of a sort, following along after bigger apprentices and agreeing with their plans. He never landed in any real trouble, but never distinguished himself in the craft either. However, he passed all requirements and was able to walk the tables at the age of twenty-one turns and to earn an assignment, back to Garnet Valley, the Hold to which his home was beholden, where he could pursue his chosen specialty. Along with the new position came another change in his life: the arrangement of a marriage to a bride he had never met.
