Physical Description of Persona:
Desree is a tall woman whose ridged posture often makes her appear even taller. Her hair, which is a very dark brown color, touched with a bit of grey, is worn in a tight bun at all times. Her style is very austere, preferring dresses of dark colors and greys, with the buttons done up to the chin and down to the wrist. She has large brown eyes and a face that might be considered lovely if not for the way her lips often purse in disapproval. She seems to frown much more often than she smiles.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Desree is very strict, believing that everything should be done just so. A place for everything and everything in its place. She is very organized and doesn't tolerate chaos. She strongly looks down on what she considers to be inappropriate behavior and will not hesitate to step in if she sees it going on. The only times she seems to soften is with her son. He is her one joy.

History of Persona:
Desree's mother was a Headwoman of a medium sized Small Hold beholden to Topaz Sea Hold. Her father, a journeyman Harper, had married Desree's mother after an indiscretion made it necessary. However, instead of asking to be transferred to the Small Hold to live with his new family permanently, he continued his travels through the region. Five turns after Desree was born, her mother got word that her husband had been killed in a brawl with an angry father after he'd gotten his daughter pregnant. It seemed that a love of travel and teaching wasn't the only thing he'd clung to.

The scandal caused Desree's mother to take her and leave the Small Hold, and indeed the whole of Topaz Sea Hold. The small family moved to Jade Harbour Hold where Desree's mother was hired as Headwoman at another Small Hold. Despite the scandal, the woman was a good Headwoman and had gotten a recommendation from her former Hold that helped her get the job. This Small Hold wasn't as big as the one she'd worked at before, but no one knew her there, and that was just fine.

As Desree grew, her mother taught her everything that she knew, including her newly embraced ideals of strict propriety. When she came of age, she served as her mother's assistant and was kept too busy to be tempted to engage in any untoward acts.

Despite her mother's best efforts though, Desree did meet a young man, a beastcrafter journeyman, and fell in love with him when she was twenty-one. He loved her as well, despite her mother's claims that he was only using her. The two of them eventually married. After five turns, and several tries Desree bore a son. The family was very happy, and even Desree's mother seemed to thaw towards her son-in-law after the baby was born.

When the healers told Desree and her husband that she shouldn't try to have more children after she'd miscarried three more times in a row, Desree's mother started up again. She constantly whispered to Desree that her husband would grow tired of her and would leave her for another woman who could bear more children. At first Desree didn't listen, but eventually the words crept in and she began to doubt her husband.

She kept her doubts to herself, but their relationship suffered none-the-less. After a few turns, they were like strangers. Desree became more and more embittered, listening to her mother. Her husband tried to convince her that her mother was wrong, but Desree wouldn't listen, convinced he was denying it out of guilt and trying to make her mother into a scapegoat for his own misdeeds. Shortly after the fight, her husband went to his crafthall to work on gaining a Mastery. He did it then, to try to give his wife space, but for Desree it was the final proof.

Desree decided to do as her mother had done, and find a new place to live. Hearing of the Headwoman opening at the Vintner Hall, Desree applied for the position. She would take her son and move to the Hall where the memories of the supposed scandal wouldn't touch her.
