Physical Description of Persona:
His skin is a natural deep tan, his hair and eyes both dark. After months of running, a stable life has allowed him to put back on some healthy weight. About average height, Marod is not physically intimidating, but he possesses lean muscle and a wiry strength.
Emotional Description of Persona:
A victim of his own bad choices, Marod is burdened by regret and guilt. His deepest guilt is reserved for his hand in kidnapping Royani. Even saving her life and giving her a measure of happiness hasn't been enough for him to forgive himself. However, he still can find the small joys in life, and his relationship with Royani has given him genuine happiness.
Several months on the run in fear for his and Royani's life forced him to be resourceful and watchful to the point of paranoia. He is slowly easing into a quiet life, but nightmares still haunt him.
History of Persona:
Wanting to take short cuts to the finer things in life, Marod did many things he isn't proud of. Everything changed when he agreed to kidnap Lord Benaroy's youngest daughter. Originally paid to hold her for a few days and then send her home, his partners Klegen and Boesyn had other ideas. Before they could sell her off to the highest bidder, Marod ran off with her. For months, they ran from his former partners, hiding, scraping by, managing to stay one step ahead.
Klegen and Boesyn did catch up with them, and in that final confrontation, Klegen gave them a piece of information that has made them believe Amber Hills Hold was not a safe place for Royani. In order to keep her safe, Marod took her to the North.
Grown close over their time spent together, Marod and Royani share a deep love. They have settled into a simple life, living as a married couple in a coastal down. Marod knows though, that one day conditions will change in Amber Hills, and Royani will need to return to her family. He'll bring her home, as he promised, no matter what consequences he might face.
