Physical Description of Persona:
Too thin with long black hair. She used to be considered pretty, but not anymore. A grotesque scar cut into her face to resemble a grin marred whatever beauty was on her face.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Damaged and bitter, Talmina hates almost everyone. She feels that everyone will let her down, and that her life has almost no value. She looks for the lesser of the evils she feels are being thrown at her, and prefers to hide in her shell of pain rather than let people try and help her.

History of Persona:
Talmina was the oldest daughter of a weaver at Garnet Valley Hold. She was always overshadowed by her cousin Briata, even when it came to catching the eye of the Lord Warder. When Briata married the Lord, Talmina drowned her sorrows in wine, supplied to her by a man who tried to rape her. Though she fended him off, he cut her face and left her to bleed to death. She was eventually found, but the healers couldn't do anything for the two large cuts that ran from her lips to her ears. To this day, the scars still cause her much pain.

With her reputation ruined, as many believed she'd brought the attack on herself, she was taunted and attacked repeatedly by the other girls in the Hold. In order to forestall what would eventually be a fight to the death, her father arraigned for Talmina to follow in her cousin's footsteps and travel to River Bluff Weyr. She was escorted by a tracker named Zanen, and the two became friends-- or as close to friends as Talmina would allow.
