Physical Description of Persona:
O'ryn is one of those men who walks the line between pretty and masculine and manages to fall just on the side of masculine, although he's got to be careful to keep it that way. He's 5'10, stocky and muscular, but with finely carved facial features that bring him far more attention than he'd like. The thick, dark hair and heavily lashed blue eyes do absolutely nothing to detract from that appearance.

Emotional Description of Persona:
An introvert at heart, O'ryn prefers to be alone or with a small group of friends, especially now that he has a curious little green dragon in his head all the time. He'll only rarely be seen with a crowd, and even at a party, he's the sort who'll be having a quiet discussion in a corner with someone he's clicked with.

Between being so quiet and being a beastcrafter, plenty of people have assumed that he's stupid, but that's far from the truth. He's an observer by nature and simply chooses to keep many of his opinions to himself.

It's hard to get him down and he hates seeing anyone he cares about upset, so he'll do whatever is in his power to help fix it, although he's best when someone needs a snuggle, an ear, and an honest opinion.

History of Persona:
O'ryn's mother died giving birth to his youngest brother Atrenyl, leaving him, his sisters Pelia and Aarika, and the baby with their miner father, Jarryn.

Since his father was rarely home, young Olanryn found himself sneaking off at odd moments to watch the runners in the fields. This brought him to the attention of the local Beastcrafters, who suggested that the boy consider apprenticing.
After consulting with his father, he accepted.

Four turns later, shortly after his 15th birthing day, Olanryn was Searched and brought to Dragonsfall to stand as a Candidate for the latest Clutch on the sands. He was aware all along that he was attracted to men, and would likely Impress a green, maybe a blue, depending.

As it turned out, his sister Aarika had also been searched for Dragonsfall, so at least he had company while he stumbled through weyr life. O'ryn was disappointed that Aarika didn't Impress at the same time Lyriath found him, but he's still convinced she would make a better dragonrider than he will.

Description of Dragon:
Lyriath is almost completely average for a green - not particularly big or small, well-proportioned and agile enough in the air. Her color, however, is what makes her stand out. A bright, yellowy green, she's striking and easily visible, even at night. She's not a flirt, but she is very curious about things and prefers to nose into things on her own rather than bothering her rider.

Lilia is a tiny flit with a mottled greenish-gray hide. She tends to stick close to O'ryn, and has been very unhappy that she's not allowed to do so while he's in training.
