Reflections and Gold

Writers: April
Date Posted: 20th September 2007

Characters: D'wol
Description: Dirwol reflects on his life and watches as his gold rises.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 6, day 12 of Turn 4

Dirwol sat on the coast watching the sea. He had wandered ou to the shore to think. In the resent desaiter he had come far to close to his own mortality being tested. He had gotten lucky that a search party of riders
had found him in his back room prison. He hadn't expected the storm to go as it had.

Dirwol watched his flits as they chased each other about the sky just above the waves. Treasure seemed to shimmer and glow as she chased poor Flips about. He watched mesmerized as she suddenly dived into the sunlit waves.

Treasure glinted with water as she skimmed the waters top and came away with a fish caught in her claws. She took it to the beach and ate most of it. With in mere moments she was done and back into the air with a
screach.

Her screach called several wild bronzes and a few browns to her. She let them chase her till she was out of sight. He smiled. Unlike a dragon, flits didn't need to be totally controled. He felt the sudden feeling of release as she was caught and decided he needed to find his lovely goldrider.
