B'ram

B'ram

"I like this weyr. Lot's of handsome men," Varija said with a loud voice and eyed the brown rider openly.

B'ram smiled, slightly embarrassed at the sudden attention drawn to him. Though her admiration was apparent, it seemed her neighbours were a little annoyed at the loud interruption to their meals. "Ah, thank you. That's very kind of you to say."

"You're welcome, handsome. What's your name?" Varija asked and winked.

"Ah, B'ram, rider of Girifith." The brownrider was wondering how he could make an escape without seeming rude. She seemed nice enough, but a little _too_ nice...

"I'm Varija, green Attiath's rider. I just moved here," she introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you." He looked off in the distance trying to see if there was a familiar face _anywhere_... "I'm just waiting for my friends..."

"Why don't you join me while you wait them?" Varija asked and batted her eyelashes for him. She had good eyelashes for batting, thick and dark.

"I'm sure they'll be along in just a moment..." Though he had yet to find anyone... "I really shouldn't start eating without them. Who knows how long they'll take and I might be finished by the time they get here."

"Then you'll have a perfect change to enjoy my company," Varija said and pushed her bosom forward a bit. She had large breasts. Too large actually, since they gave her back pain. But men generally liked them.

Her chest was certainly noticeable, especially with it thrusting towards him. It looked like she was smuggling whole melons in her shirt. He really didn't want to, this woman seemed a tad too eager for his tastes, especially now that he had pretty consistent company in the person of the Weyrwoman, but he couldn't think of a good enough reason to say no. "Well, just until my friends arrive..."

Varija moved a bit to make room for him.

And yet still her breasts quite noticeably slapped against his arm as she adjusted her position. "Ah, thank you."

"Are you native to this Weyr or have you transferred here from somewhere else?" Varija asked, just to make a conversation.

"I'm from Far Island originally. Where did you come in from?" He was pretty sure he hadn't met her there. He would have remembered her voice, if not her chest. Both seemed to be rather inescapable.

"I Impressed at River Bluff Weyr. I did spent few turns in Far Island too," Varija said. Shells, she had spent few turns in _every_ weyr in Pern.

"Oh? Recently?" Wouldn't be funny if they knew some of the same people. It was quite possible.

"No, sixteen turns ago," Varija replied and felt herself old. B'ram had been probably too young to have any dealings with her back then.

"Does the name R'mot mean anything to you?"

"Ah, no, I'm afraid not, should it?" Varija replied and asked.

"No. No, that would have been my father. I just was wondering if you had... known him..." She seemed the kind of women who 'knew' a lot a men...

Varija just shook her head. At that particular time she had been more in to the non-riders, trying if they were better mates than dragonriders. They proved to be exactly the same.

Well that was a bit of a relief at least. "So... what brings you here then?"

"The usual," Varija replied vaguely. She was not willing to tell that she had been kicked out of yet another weyr.

"Looking for adventure and a change in scenery?" That was B'ram's experience with 'the usual'.

"Something like that," Varija said, she was finding the klah mug suddenly very interesting.

"Which wing are you in?" He was pretty sure, now that he thought about it, that they had a recent transfer in Hurricane wing.

"In the weyrleader's wing, I can't remember all the names yet," Varija replied.

"Ah. Yeah, that's my wing too." B'ram wasn't sure if he was happy about that fact or not. She seemed nice enough. At least she had stopped blatantly hitting on him.

Varija leaned back and stretched her arms, which made her breasts stick out. The gesture was bit too obvious.

So much for that thought. Though, they were rather, intriguing... How could she sleep on her stomach? _Could_ she sleep on her stomach, he wondered. Suddenly he realized he had been starring at her chest, which probably was what she had wanted, but still, he didn't want to give her any ideas! "My friends should be here any second..."

"Really?" she asked as innocently as she could (which wasn't very innocent).

"Yeah, they will, and I bet they'll be really hungry when they do, so they'll want to eat right away..." Anyone, _anyone_ he knew at all would be welcome to walk through the doors of the dinning hall! They couldn't have all eaten already!
