Physical Description of Persona:
What B'ram thinks he lacks in height, standing at 5'7", he has over compensated with brawn. Now if only he could tame his firey red hair that seems to spike in all directions, get rid of all the freckles, and change his boyishly charming looks into something a bit more masculine he would feel much better. Sun-friendly fair skin that tanned rather than burned would be an added bonus. The one thing B'ram would never change about himself would be his green eyes, framed in enviably long fair lashes. It is, after all, what the ladies usually notice first about him.

Emotional Description of Persona:
This brownrider is not one to hide his emotions. When he is sad he looks sad. When he is happy he looks happy. And when he is angry he is not afraid to show it. He also rarely keeps his opinion to himself, and his friends have found it easier to agree than work against his stubborn side. As a result, he was often elected leader as a boy - after all, he'd take the position anyway.

When he takes a dislike to someone, it takes a lot to make him change his mind. On the other hand, once he has befriended someone he is their friend for life - or until they make him really angry. Most of the time he is dreaming up some kind of adventure of one kind or another, and his enthusiasm and pursuasiveness helps him to gather a group of willing souls around him.

History of Persona:
B'ram was born and raised at Far Island Weyr. His childhood was full of the usual weyrbrat mischief. When he turned old enough he began stading at Hatchings with the boys and girls he grew up with, often adopting new Candidates into his group since he was best to teach them what Weyrlife was all about, at least in his own mind.

He stood at Hatching for several turns before Impressing brown Girifith. The need for a challenge he developed in his youth was satisfied with the return of Thread. Not long after Thread began to fall, his brown caught the green of Atreyn and the two quickly feel in love. They were Weyrmated and lived together for two and a half turns until she finally confessed to him that she had fallen in love with another man, a bronzerider named U'falo. B'ram's heart was shattered and he felt a need to run away. After the disaster that befell Dolphin Cove Weyr, B'ram found a new adventure in asking for a transfer from the only home he ever knew and in order to try to carve a new niche for himself in another part of Pern.

Ironically, soon after arriving at Dolphin Cove he bumped into a familiar face, the new Weyrwoman Traelyn, a girl he had grown up with at Far Island Weyr and Atreyn's sister. They had always had a complicated relationship bouncing between attraction and repulsion, and that didn't seem to change at Dolphin Cove. They ended up taking out their painful pasts on each other, first by trading hateful words and later in a twisted sexual relationship. Over the course of a turn, however, their secret affair changed from one of anger and using each other, to realizing that they knew each other deeper than they ever thought possible and on some level had fallen in love with each other.

Now that Traelyn's love affair with a bronzerider at Dragonsfall has soured, their once dirty little secret affair has grown into an almost normal relationship. Only time will tell how far it will go...

Description of Dragon:
Girifith has as much bottled up energy as his rider, which leads the pair into trouble occassionally. His deep brown, almost earth colored hide and well muscled frame seems to be well liked by the greens, and he is not afraid to primp and pose for them whenever her has a chance.
