Physical Description of Persona:
Small and sturdy, Jevikas is like looking back into E'kavas' past. He has his Dad's mop of black curls and dark brown eyes. He's starting to get a little bit of acne here and there, and a few stray hints of mustache hairs at the corners of his mouth. He always seems like he's mid-growth spurt these days, with his clothes always needing to be mended or altered. His voice wavers now with the uncertainty of a boy that no longer trusts it.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Bright, determined, and a little bit of a shit. Jevikas has learned from Dad to always be busy, though what he's busy doing is not always as constructive as it should be. Sure, he attends lessons and does chores well enough to pass muster. He's around if anyone has a dragon that needs washing or has half a mark and a message to run. The rest of his time is spent to his own devices, which is how he likes it, thank you very much, which is mostly mischief.

History of Persona:
Jevikas is part of the first generation of kids that can't remember what an Interval was like. A classic weyrbrat with a gaggle of fostersibs and full siblings and weyrbrat cousins, he was raised underfoot of dragonriders and dragons alike. Sure, he saw the threadscores and the injures his parents and family gained, but they were Pern's heroes, and they were, by all accounts (his own), invincible. Sure, Dad and Roquath got threadscored once in a while. Nolaith strained a wing. Nothing was permanent except their presence.

The evacuation and earthquake of River Bluff Weyr lingers at the edges of his mind. He was only eight at the time and couldn't do much but hold tight to the dragon that rushed him and his siblings to higher ground. E'kavas found them in the aftermath, but neither of his other parents did. Sometimes, if he thinks about it (or when he doesn't think about it) he can still hear the dragons and people screaming.

The loss of his family hit him hard, and his father packing up his siblings and bringing them along to Dragonsfall Weyr was the second worst experience of his life. He hated the new Weyr at first. It was a harsh change from the home he knew, and suddenly he was expected to care for his younger siblings when E'kavas was gone. Some of his friends and their families were relocated there, at least, so he wasn't as isolated as he initially expected.

He volunteered for candidacy as soon as he was able, both as a reprieve from his family and because he wanted a dragon of his own, despite E'kavas' encouragement to wait.

Peeve, Blue Firelizard: aged 9, hatched m5 d9
Originally the "family" firelizard that imprinted on E'kavas' weyrmate Revia, Peeve hasn't been far from E'kavas or the children since the earthquake, and happily followed the family to the colder climate of Dragonfall Weyr. A small navy blue flit, Peeve has a little lighter dappling along his back and wings. Peeve was well-trained and is naturally rather chill, content to lounge on the edge of a bed or near the most convenient heat source. He has endless patience for children, being raised amongst them himself, and takes being poked and prodded by tiny hands with grace.
