Physical Description of Persona:
Terissa is a well developed young woman as befits someone born on a holding and dealing with beasts and tending crops all day. She has dark brown hair which she prefers to keep free of adornments unless absolutely necessary, and her eyes are a light almond in color. Terissa has a well tanned complexion (from her years of outdoor living) and a very expressive face. She is 5 feet 9 inches tall, above average for a girl of 17 Turns, and weighs close to 10 stone (138 pounds).

Emotional Description of Persona:
Terissa is outgoing and fun loving, possessing a plucky, 'never let life get you down' attitude. Subtle? Shy? These are words that cannot be used to describe her. Terissa has a keen eye for shy newcomers, approaching them with all the zeal of a hunter stalking her prey.

She is friendly and willing to do what she is asked to do, though like most teenagers, she sometimes questions (privately - she would never show defiance openly) why they are necessary. She felt that it was her responsibility to see if she could Impress a dragon, as it would bring great honour to her family to be Searched and accepted as a Candidate.

History of Persona:
She was born on a small holding to very conservative parents in the hill country. Her father is called Tel and her mother is called Marinda. She is the oldest child and has 2 sisters called Teana and Tarla. Growing up she wasn't trained for a craft as she was expected to work in the home and on the holding, although she was taught her lessons in a group of other holders children by a harper. She stopped having lessons when she was 12 as she was judged too old for such nonsense. She was rewarded at the age of 14 with a fire lizard for agreeing to wed a neighbour. She was searched recently and her father agreed to let her go to the weyr as a candidate because of the honour it would give to her family.

Description of Dragon:
Dragon's Physical Appearance:
Porath is of average size for an adult green, but has a thinner build when compared to other greens. Porath's coloring is unusual, in that she is colored a dark forest green, with a distinctive pea-green 'racing stripe' that runs down her spine from the crest of her head to the tip of her tail. This same pea green coloration dominates the muzzle of her cherubic face and around her eyeridges, making it appear as if she is wearing a mask. The dark green coloration gradually fades to a light sea foam green on her underbelly and on the leading edges of her wings.

Dragon's Personality:
Porath is all about smelling the flowers and enjoying the harmony and balance of nature, often foregoing flight and preferring to walk where she can enjoy it better - much to the consternation of the other animals that flee at her approach (she can't understand why they don't just stand still so she can see them better!).

Porath is extremely fussy and constantly obsesses over her appearance, her body a flurry of activity as she preens and grooms herself to look her very best. Very mindful of her rider's responsibilities, she never fails to let Terissa know when she's due for a good oiling and rubdown.

Porath complements her rider perfectly, each of them imposing restraints when they feel the other is getting carried away or out of hand. Like her rider, she goes out of her way to try and involve the more introverted of her siblings and other dragons.
