Physical Description of Persona:
D'val is tall and still of a slenderish build, gaining height from his mother's side of the family that doesn't exist in his father's. At 6'4" he's bulked up since becoming a rider, losing the thin gawkiness he had before Impression. His hair is black and his eyes are gray. His skin is a dark olive, turning darker with sun. The combination makes for a handsome young man, often embarrassed when people comment on his looks.

Emotional Description of Persona:
He is confident in himself otherwise - kind, caring, and gentle in nature, a natural healer. He has an air of unshakable self-confidence that seems to attract people to him, born of the bond with his green.

History of Persona:
Born Dorval at Far Island Weyr, his mother always professed to be unsure of his paternity and he grew up not knowing his father. It wasn't until after Aleine's death when he was sixteen and his move to the Healer Hall that he discovered the vast family through his father. L'daven checked the records at Far Island and discovered that although Aleine had told Dorval she didn't know who his father was, she'd listed him in the Headwoman's records. Together they surmised that Aleine must have been embarrassed at having a child by a man who'd been twenty-six turns her junior at the time of Dorval's birth. When Dorval walked the tables to journeyman, he promptly accepted a post at River Bluff to be near his father so he could get to know him and his half-siblings.

He settled into the Infirmary, content to work his way up in his craft, until an insistent Weyrwoman convinced him to stand as a candidate. His life altered forever when Ayleth's mind met his, the tiny green injured by aggressive clutchmates in hatching. Always a gentle person, the change in him was still remarkable as Ayleth grew. He's allowed little time for anything but Ayleth in his life since, and seems content to keep it that way.

Wish is still growing, and is slowly being trained by D'val -- or he is training D'val, depending on how you look at it. Wish is cautious around other humans, and is highly courious (sometimes dangerously so) about nearly everything he encounters.
