Physical Description of Persona:
For his young age, he is rather tall at 5'9". His hair is so black that it appears to simply be a void on top of his head, except when it is freshly washed, then it will shine in sunlight. He is rather lanky for his age, having spent most of his time failing at following in his father's footsteps. His skin is almost as brown as his eyes.

Emotional Description of Persona:
His is a rather depressed personality, having first failed at becoming a successful harper, the only thing his father truly wished for him, and then failing at impressing a dragon. He has also failed at making any friends up until this point, which has only further lowered his esteem.

History of Persona:
Vykor spent the majority of the life he remembers in a small hold beholden to Jade Harbor Hold. His father, Jysium, was a senior journeyman there. Vykor was the middle of seven children, three older brothers, and one younger brother along with his two younger sisters. Vykor spent four years as a junior apprentice before he was selected on search by River Bluff Weyr during his sixteenth birthing day celebration. The knock came just after the gift from his parents hatched. The dragonrider, whom Vykor never did learn his name, was kind enough to wait until Wavebird, his little blue, was nicely sated. Vykor was crushed when he didn't impress. He didn't even care what color it would have been. Since that time, he has been assisting the Weyr harper in keeping everything organized and helping the youngest learning the songs, due to his tenure in the craft. Vykor has sworn that one day he will at least make senior apprentice, but deep down he is afraid it will never happen.

After falling in love with a greenrider he allows his depressed nature to cause a fight with her. In the middle of the night he left without a word. He lived in the wilderness for a bit until he met B'drin a brownrider that befriended him. On turns end B'drin came to visit and Vykor slipped. B'drin took him back to the weyr and he was taken care of. After months of amnesia he finally began to remeber bits and pieces. By the time the hatching that produced his Wavenith he had remebered nearly all his life. But, he had changed from what had happened and he had finally impressed and his little blue was the best thing in his life. His relationship with his greenrider Nocte was still slightly undecided on what it would end up as. Neither knowing quite what to do. And with his newly hatched blue they had a long wait to find out.

Wavebird knows he is currently Vykor's only friend and will defend him with tremendous ferocity against anyone that gives Vykor any undue flak. However, due to his young age, his is highly ineffectual in this task, able to give no greater than small scratches and tiny bruises. He is no larger than a large green flit, and his coloration is so identical to seawater that Vykor has lost him in the ocean more than once.
