Craft Rank: Junior Journeyman
Speciality: Medical
Physical Description of Persona:
Yara is a tall young woman with long legs and a slender, muscular form. Her jet black hair has a bit of a curl to it and falls to her shoulders when she doesn't have it pulled back into braids for swimming. She has blue-grey eyes with very regular features and is generally considered attractive but not strikingly beautiful.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Socially, Yara is friendly and relaxed, enjoying people but comfortable by herself as well. She can be rather intense in the work setting, but is still considerate of others. Her weakness is a rather quick temper, but she has improved on that over the turns. Luckily she is always ready to forgive and forget, or seek forgiveness as the case may be.
History of Persona:
Yara was born to dolphineers and grew up quite happily in the Northern Dolphin Hall. She learned to love the ocean and the dolphins at an early age. She apprenticed at twelve turns and did very well in her classes. By the time she made journeywoman at 18 turns, though she was still thoroughly enjoying her studies, she found herself growing restless.
Assignments outside of the Hall increased her experience and knowledge base, but Yara continued to feel restless. Although, she wanted to carry on with a more specialized course of study in the medical aspects of the Dolphin Hall, she also wanted a change. Correspondence with her grandfather, who worked in the kitchens in the Southern Hall, had helped her to develop a keen interest in the Southern Dolphin Hall. Finally, she decided to apply for a transfer to the Southern Hall.
Yara embraced the move with excitement tempered with a touch of anxiety. Several months after the move she finds herself pleased with her decision and settling in quite well. She continues to work hard toward senior journeyman rank no longer worried that the transfer will have an adverse affect on her walking the tables. Her fondest desire is still to find a dolphin partner.
