Physical Description of Persona:
At fifteen turns P'ton already stood as tall as many Pernese men and taller than a few. It is unlikely he will reach his father's or older brother's stature but he will be tall. Though he has broad shoulders, he takes after his mother and is not nearly as brawny as his brothers. He also has his mother's deep blue eyes that bring to mind a high mountain lake. Upon coming to the Weyr, he immediately cut his auburn-brown hair so that it no longer touched his neck. His facial features are strong and the resemblance to his brother R'taran is very evident.

Emotional Description of Persona:
P'ton is arrogant and sometimes brash, prone towards taking risks and seeking adventure. Though he might not always be the most thoughtful individual, he is in no way cruel or unkind. In fact he's quite fun loving and personable, though authoritative types might find him somewhat irreverent. He can also be incredibly stubborn. From a very young age he demonstrated a fondness for the ladies and can be quite a charmer, though sometimes overconfident.

History of Persona:
Born one of the middle children in a large family, Paulton never felt like he fit in. Brought up near Emerald Falls in a mid-sized holding, he was raised with strong Southern values, yet something in him always rebelled. When Paulton was nine, his older brother R'taran was Searched and went to Dolphin Cove Weyr to Impress brown. Though he kept it to himself, he dreamt of little else but becoming a dragonrider after that. Upon reaching his teenage turns, he and his conservative father clashed almost daily. Rizpaulen finally agreed to allow Paulton to go to the Weyr with his brother to meet a Search dragon with the stipulation that if he was not deemed a likely candidate, the boy would come home and settle down. To Paulton's tremendous relief, he was Searched that day and became a candidate.

Then his fondest dream came true when he Impressed bronze Cirynath from Riyanth's clutch in month eleven of the seventh turn of the pass. P'ton knew that his life would never be the same again and he was exultant in this knowledge.

Description of Dragon:
Cirynath's hide is a handsome synthesis of burnished ochre glazed with copper while his underbelly and wingsails show viridescent undertones. Quite small when he hatched, the bronze was only the size of a brown, but he seems to be growing at an incredible rate, quickly surpassing his clutch mates. He is a very determined young dragon with no difficulty asserting himself.
