Physical Description of Persona:
Odarian inherited his father's dark hair and impressive stature and his mother's bright blue eyes--a combination that has already proved favourable even at seventeen turns. He keeps his hair cut short in the front, though it usually creeps past his collar in the back before his foster mother bullies him into getting it trimmed. He's already quite tall at sixteen, but gives every indication of rivalling his father's height, if not his bulk.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Odarian has always been a fairly studious young man, which is a surprise to those who know who his father is. He got into his share of trouble as a weyrbrat, but the return of Thread when he was just twelve sobered his enthusiasm for troublemaking. He shows all of the family skill at Healing, but his love of his craft, however, has certainly not interfered with his desire to have a good time. There are a few young women around the Weyr who will attest to the fact that Odarian has inherited at least _some_ of his father's charm.

History of Persona:
Odarian has grown up a happy and well-adjusted weyrbrat at Dolphin Cove. The result of a green flight, he was raised by a fond but no-nonsense foster mother who instilled a decent work ethic in him at a young age. He was never particularly close to either of his parents, so it was a surprise to everyone how personally he took his mother's death in the first Fall Dolphin Cove fought against.

Not long after the return of Thread, Odarian made the decision to apprentice as a Healer. For some time he avoided the question of whether or not he intended to Stand at any Hatchings, especially as his father seemed vaguely disappointed by the fact that his son didn't seem interested in becoming a dragonrider. Although he was properly horrified by the Threadscore that ended his father's brief tenure as Weyrleader, Odarian hoped that having O'dan trapped in the infirmary would give him a chance to get to know his father a little better.

After finally making the decision to Stand Odarian was disappointed to be left on the Sands the first time he tried his luck, but on the second time he was rewarded by the Impression of bronze Taoth.

Taoth is a dark bronze, appearing almost brown in some lights but he is completely certain of his own place in the draconic hierarchy. That certainty compliments his rider's more studious nature and they seem like they will make a good, strong pairing.
